A Cool Find That Found Me

Yep, it came right into my email inbox today. It was short and sweet about a website just for coupons for the state of New Jersey. I decided to check it out since the location it came from I was familiar with. Very simple laid out site, easy to navigate, and more features will be added later. I thought, "for 6 months free advertising for my coupon, why not try it out?"

As to how it found me, I don't know the exact details, lol, but I do know that I have been focusing on how I can advertise events I have coming up rather than my products/business. Granted, what I had in mind is slightly different than what this site offers but hey, it's a piece of more to come my way. :-)

Humorous Cinnabun Story

I wanted to share with you a touching humorous story with you that I recieved from one of my candle drawing entrants. This girl had won a Bella Bun in my personal weekly contest in March. She's been a loyal entrant for almost as long as I have been with the candles. When she picked the Bella Bun she told me about what happened to the other Bella Bun she won from me a long while back that she displays in her bathroom. Her friend was scratching little bits of the bun so she can smell the scent all day on her fingers. So, being that I was in a wonderful mood after hearing that story, I decided to give her 2 buns, one to give to her friend. :-) This is what makes my candle business so much fun and so worthwhile in my life. She's given me permission to share her story with you and I hope you find it a treat to read as much as I did.

I wanted to let you know that I gave my friend the Cinnabun Candle, and I'm sure you can imagine how she reacted....LOL To give you an idea, I'll share with you a short written image.

She opened the box and screamed with glee. She smiled, laughed, thanked me a thousand times then immediately stuffed the candle up her nose. She sniffed and sniffed and sniffed, until she could sniff no more. Heheeee

My friend Heather forgets everything whenever she visits my house; but, the one thing she did not forget that day was her candle. Just today I asked her if she burned the candle yet, and her answer was..."No way, I keep it upstairs so no one knows I even have it. Whenever I have a moment of free time, I take it from my hiding place and sniff it for a while then put it back away." :o)

Thanks again for replacing my waxed-peeled Cinnabun Candle, and for helping me make someone I care about smile!
